I am a psychologist, educator, researcher with a deep commitment to advancing equity, accessibility, and social justice. My work focuses on individual and organizational growth and change. I am passionate about supporting learning processes that promote reflective practice and a culture of inquiry.
I have more than twenty years experience as a researcher, internal evaluator, program director, and project manager. My leadership positions at organizations such as Boston Children’s Hospital, the YMCA of Greater Boston, and the City of Cambridge, have given me a deep understanding of how programs and organizations operate across the nonprofit sector.
Early in my career, I worked in the juvenile justice system and out of school time and early childhood programs. Then, I was a counselor in the Boston Public Schools for nearly a decade.
I’ve taught courses in child development, program evaluation, and research methods at Boston College, Harvard University, Smith College, and Tufts University. I also served as Guest Faculty in Evaluation at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Currently, I am Adjunct Faculty in Organizational and Leadership Psychology at the William James College Center for Behavioral Health, Equity, and Leadership in Schools, where I teach a variety of courses for educators about student mental health.
My undergraduate studies were in anthropology at Haverford College. I earned an Ed.M. and Ed.D. in human development and psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
